  • Associate Professor RCSI and National Clinical Lead Epilepsy Surgery (Adults and Paediatrics) 
  • Qualified UCC 1991, FRCSI 1995, MD Neuroanatomy 1997, FRCSI Surgical Neurology 2003. 
  • Chair of Neurosurgery 2010 to 2017. 
  • Clinical Director 2021 to present time.

  • Epilepsy Surgery (adults at Beaumont and paediatrics at CHI Temple Street) 
  • Cerebral Tumours 
  • Hydrocephalus 
  • Degenerative Spine Conditions 
  • Pituitary Tumours 
  • Chiari Malformation 
  • Traumatic Brain Injuries 
  • CNS Infection

Several major projects with Future Neuro RCSI on epilespy. Also major projects with Trinity College on GBM and Epilepsy
