Biography

Dr Magee graduated in 1991 following general medicine training in Ireland. He completed his specialist nephrology training in Ireland and Boston, USA. 

  • Consultant / attending nephrologist in Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston from 2000-2007. 
  • Instructor in medicine and assistant professor of medicine in Harvard Medical School, Boston from 2000-2007. 
  • Consultant nephrologist in Beaumon Hospital and Rotunda Hospital since 2007.

Scope of practice

All aspects of nephrology but particularly interested in kidney transplantation and obstetric nephrology.

MD, FRCPI, MPH

Research & Scientific Contributions

Author / co-author of multiple (<70) original publications and also of multiple editorials, case reports, book chapters, uptodate chapters.
