This video describes a patient’s journey from diagnosis of oesophageal cancer, through treatment and surgery. It is designed to introduce patients and their families to the team here in Beaumont and provide information and guidance to them at different steps of their journey. Engaging patients in this way plays an important role in encouraging patients to be engaged and active participants in their care, during a physically and emotionally stressful time in their lives when they get a diagnosis of Oesophageal cancer.
